I joined Insight Wealth Partners in 2021 after spending 24 years as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial. During my time there, I was proud to see my practice recognized as a "Platinum Financial Practice," and I was honored to receive the “Client Experience Award” in its first year, 2020, which was given to only a few advisors.
I've been consistently recognized for my dedication to helping clients, receiving the FIVE STAR Wealth Manager award every year from the program's start through 2021. That's over a decade of being acknowledged for supporting clients in achieving their financial goals.
My educational background is a great fit for my passion for helping others with their finances. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Finance and a minor in Economics, from the University of Wisconsin. I've also earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional (CFP®).
One of the things I love most about my job is getting to know my clients personally. I strive to understand each person's unique situation so that I can offer tailored advice that fits their needs and goals. I enjoy using creativity to explore different solutions to help clients reach their financial aspirations. It's incredibly satisfying to see them succeed.
Outside of work, my world revolves around my family. My wife Danielle and I have been married for over 22 years, and we have three wonderful children: Noah, Dawson, and Samantha. Our household is quite lively, with each of us having a dog (Henry, Maggie, Charlie, Kailani, and Norman), plus a family cat named George, several chickens, two turtles (Rose & Calliope), and a saltwater reef fish tank. I also keep an apiary to support the bee population—who knows what next year will bring?
In my spare time, I love being with my family. We enjoy traveling, skiing, and supporting our kids in their activities, like community theater, powerlifting (Noah), high school baseball (Dawson), and the dance team (Stingerettes - Samantha). I'm also involved with the local Boy Scout troop (Troop 403), helping to raise future leaders and teaching camping skills. We're currently planning a trip to Philmont this summer. With our recent boat purchase, I'm excited to add water sports and fishing to our weekend plans.
The future looks bright, and I'm eager to continue helping clients in new ways and watching my family grow beyond the high school years.
